Pembroke Range

The result of a week in the woods with nine other designers and makers in Herefordshire. The idea was hatched between Chris Eckersley and Rory Dodd and was so successful they did it twice, the project lead to various live bodging events at Heal’s in central London amongst others and also exhibitions in Milan (hence the Bodging Milano tag) and London Design Fair. The course was run by the amazing Gudrun Leitz who runs several Windsor chair making workshops throughout the summer.

The chair was inspired by the Welsh stick chair tradition, I wanted to capture something of their quirky character albeit in a less rustic way. Sitting Firm manufactured the range for seven years until they closed in 2020. Production will be back in the near future. Please email me if you would like to be kept up to date on developments.
