I have been designing and making things in wood since studying fine cabinet making and furniture design at Parnham College in Dorset. In 1996 I started out as a designer-maker, based in Hackney, East London. Today my work covers a broad spectrum, from bespoke designs for private clients and public art commissions, to design for production for UK retailers such as SCP, Benchmark, Sitting Firm, Mark Product and Heal’s. With a reputation for designs which are sensitive and carefully considered, I hope my work has a quiet, timeless appeal; the objective being longevity through quality design and craftsmanship.
