My most recent project with SCP. The Jethro dining table and bench are made in solid wood (ash or walnut) using traditional craft techniques such as through-tenons which show the end grain of the rails in the legs, to a wedged stretcher which makes the structure rigid. The legs are broad but facetted with deep chamfers which reflect light differently and create an overall impression of lightness. Although the initial concept was conceived from a rather rustic tradition, the table and bench combine robustness with a refined, quiet elegance. A new addition to the range is the side table, shown in this gallery in walnut.
