Bespoke Furniture

My background is in fine cabinet making, having trained at renowned Parnham College in Dorset. I started out as a designer-maker in 1996, renting bench space in Hackney, East London.
The selected pieces shown here were either commissioned or made speculatively for an exhibition. Most of these designs can be customised should you wish to discuss.
Commissions for private clients start with formulating a brief, this should cover the space, function, aesthetic and budget. Some clients have very strong ideas about what they’re looking for, others are more vague. Either way my aim is to fulfil the brief with a piece of furniture of the highest quality in terms of design and craftsmanship, this I believe is the key to longevity and the antidote to today’s throw-away culture.
